Episode Summary

In our last episode, Gabby has lost her mother Caitlin and inherited the family business. Meanwhile, childhood friend Mo has brought her rockin’ Hollywood band the Flutterbyes to play the wake. But in a strange twist of fate when a vintage replacement microphone once used by Elvis Presley comes into close proximity to the tourist attraction meteorite, a bizarre otherworldly quantum paradoxical phenomenon occurred - opening a door that transported them to the year 1954 and to a kind Cajun gentleman named Gabe. In episode three, Cowabunga It’s a Surfin’ Sound Wave Safari!

A FALLING STAR AT BUZZARD'S ROOST is a full length musical in four episodes with hilarious commercials and original music by The Flutterbyes. The show was workshopped to SRO audiences at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, developed and recorded during the Covid Lockdown and stars a diverse cast including comedy greats Dave Foley (Kids In the Hall, Fargo), Gary Anthony Williams (Boondocks, Reno 911); Broadway's Maureen Davis (original cast of Into the Woods) and Kacee Clanton (Janis Joplin on Broadway) as well rock goddess Roni Lee (singer/guitarist Venus & the Razor Blades and gold record winner with The Runaways).
